"The U.S. is a reasonably flexible, dynamic, innovative society." i see all these call centers moving to other countries because labor is cheaper. first to ireland but their labor rate is about the same as our now , if not higher.They are losing these jobs now to india. I see the next phase as india losing these jobs as we do our research on the web and all call centers are now performed by computer software with improved data basis. Somewhat like how the switch board operator went away and we now use prompts or direct dial. people today need to continue their education, in order to be qualified for a position. These disruptions are here to stay.
