The golf ball typewriters weren't proportional spaced fonts. They used fancier fonts than Courier, but they still were evenly spaced, not proportionally spaced.

There were IBM proportionally spaced typewriters, but they were much harder to use because if you made a mistake in a word it was hard to correct -- if you put in an m instead of a n, since they took different amounts of space, you couldn't just go back and white out the m and put in an n and have it come out right.

Also, what commander would keep a "personal office file" on a junior lt. for 32 years?

The whole thing sounds very fishy. Dirty tricks from the Dems? We'll see.

Whether fake or legitimate, they are a part of the most rapid deterioration of polticial integrity that I have seen in my lifetime. This election is a disgrace on both sides.
