I think if you wanted to test the NHC's longer term forecasting ability, you'd have to print out that page each time it was updated ... it seems to me what it is really testing is the NHC's abilities over the short term, as every six hours NHC gets a new shot at predicting the longer term, and the track has been moving all over the place.
