Am I oversimplifying? We went in for three alleged reasons:

1) WMDs - threat to us.
2) Links to 9/11 - revenge/justice.
3) Saddam is a bad man - humanitarian.

#1 and #2 did not pan out. When that happened, this administration emphasized #3, meaning that this must be our new policy.

Do I have it wrong? How so?
