I guess anything is possible.

We can tease out what happened from the son's testimony. He said one of the docs looked real, but not the others. And the others included the damning one. That one had no superscript, but there was a space between the 4 and the "th." This keeps the MS superscript from activating. I use to hate that feature when I did a lot of letters in MS.

Somebody got ahold of one memo from him, and forged the other three, based on the first one. He probably retyped the first one to make them all look the same.

They then sold it to Rather based on, "we knew him, and these are from him." Rather was so eager to nail Bush he bit.
