Well, maybe I should tell everyone the other major mistake I made. It may save someone from doing the same thing.

To save time I decided to install windows without unplugging any of my drives. Worked perfectly! Even my sp2 CD updated without problems. There I was, surfacing the web with a freshly formatted disc without any known conflicts.

I see you, stop laughing!!!

I didn't notice a problem until I got ready to reload my settings and documents via Windows Backup utility. Yep, you guess it: I couldn't update because windows had assigned my raid 1 setup to drive J instead of C!!!
