Garth: There is so much truth to the fact that we are called to seek first the kingdom and God and all these "things" shall be added unto you. God wants to bless you financially more than you will ever know. In fact I find it hard to live a blessed Christian life unless I am also blessed financially. Ill say close to impossible. There is just not anything quite like living in lack . I have been there done that! God is the best investor and businessman and is so innovative. He hates debt. I'll tell you that and He hates waste. He likes frugality and hates cheapness and pettiness where our finances are concerned. In those two areas He demands a balance. I love that bible verse, speaking of a righteous man," and whatsoever ye shall do ye shall prosper". I can show you spiritually where God prioritizes wealth creation over high income. After all high incomes put you in high income tax brackets. Wealth creation and income deferrment let you keep more for yourself and your heirs. God is a multigenerational God and will look after your grandchildren and unto the fourth and fifth generation...based on your righteousness. By the sins of Adam or disobedience of Adam we were all cursed. By the obedience of one i.e. Christ we are all called righteous by faith. On a lesser scale by our obedience our future generations will be blessed in Christ. The two major barriers the enemy uses to discourage our Christian walk are finances and marriages...( my opinion only )...You can get me to do some serious praying for marriages and finances because I know that if I can get someone prospering...I mean really prospering the way God wants us to and have a great marriage, there is little the enemy can do to discourage us after that. Think about even sickness. It affects finances and marriages. Put another way. If I am praying for your marriage and finances it is impossible for you to get sick and have my prayer answered. I pray that the Lord move your finances and marriage into uncharted waters. I pray that your finances and marriage will prosper in all that you do. I speak increase over your marriage and finances, I speak multiplication over your finances and I bind the enemy from attacking you ...for God will cover you with a blood covering that the enemy cannot penetrate to disrupt anything in these two areas of your life. Be not embarrassed that I have openly prayed these things for you. The one thing that will follow when God blesses you with a heavenly abundance is persecution. You can count on it. But if the whole world is against you and God is for you there is nothing that the enemy can do to take away your blessings . They will flow continually. God is more able to bless you than the enemy is to unbless you. In Christ...Gregor
