Therefore, I expect Rather to go over the situation toward the end of his broadcast tomorrow, apologize to Bush, and take himself off the air

News programs have weathered hoaxes before, though rarely as obvious as this one. He may make himself scarce for a little while, but I doubt he'll go off the air.
