sandintoes, What's wrong with George W Bush??? He's just a good ole country boy, that knows how to play the game of "confuse the Yankee city slickers". When I had to travel to NYC, 4 or 5 times a year, on business, I would play the same game. Just wear your boots, Resistol, and go around saying things like, "that rain was a frog strangler", "it was a gully washer", and "that's how the cow ate the cabbage!" They look at you like you ain't got any sense, and become ready to pluck like a scalded chicken.
Bush does have a little trouble with unfamiliar words, but so what? That has nothing to do with intelligence, and the ability to get the right job done, when it needs to be done.
BTW, When I say Yankee city slickers, that includes those in all large cities above the Mason-Dixon Line, and west of the Rocky Mountains. :^) |
