Can a Vietnamese-American be Heard? Sure she can be heard, but she doesn't have to be deffered to. She gets the same right to participate in the debate that everyone else gets. Perhaps Kerry did demonstrate compassion when he protested against the war, but his lies about the war where not compassionate, and neither was the American abandonment of South Vietnam to be conquered by the Communists.
