Bush is probably someone who takes in information, then makes judgments, and almost never backtracks when confronted with new information.

His Achilles' heel, which the Dems are too inept to exploit. There is a serious lack of flexibility in Bush's character which worries me to some extent.

Bush doesn't seem to have perceived how much he is hated in the ME and elsewhere. If you think the ABB crowd is bad, think globally. He is overwhelmingly despised.

Such hatred for Bush is a liability when he promotes liberty and democracy in the ME. Any liberals or reformers who might be locally effective simply cannot ally themselves with the US or Bush for fear of being seen as toadies. They thereby become ineffective.

Interesting paradox, huh? A good guy who wants to do well is hated worldwide. In my view, this is mostly due to his inflexibility which is interpreted as arrogance. The sad part is that his otherwise admirable goals are frustrated simply because of how he presents himself.

This is a problem, and it is best evidenced by the fact that all the goodwill 9/11 created is down the gurgler. For me it's definitely not a vote-changing problem since the alternative is far, far worse.

The Dems should be exploiting this aspect of Bush like mad. Some, like Moore, do understand, but their attack is far out of proportion to the weakness in Bush they seek to exploit.

The Dems are showing the political skills of mollusks, and all this has to be put at Kerry's feet. I cannot vote for someone who is so politically dense. Makes me wonder how Kerry ever got elected Senator.
