Management at CBS is going to have to step in. Rather and the newsies are making a mess out of it. Stonewalling on Rather's part suggests that he either (1) is not connected to this Earth anymore or (2) is talking to his lawyers who've told him to admit nothing because, as I've said and continue to say, there could very well be serious criminal consequences to this episode, though they haven't yet come forth.
