Actually, it seems that in some of the pages, the author was smart enough to put a blank space in between the number and the "st" and "th". In others, he has gone back and remove the superscript manually by deleting and retyping the text

I'm waiting for CBS News' explanation of how somebody got a typewriter to do kerning in 1973.

WTF are they walking the plank like this? Nixon had the power of the Executive Branch when he decided to stonewall; who does CBN News think they are?
