I'm waiting for CBS News' explanation of how somebody got a typewriter to do kerning in 1973. They ignore what they can't explain. Just like Daily Kos. Powerline just took his "explanation" apart. Rather is not sitting still for an interview and someone to ask him unanswerable questions like "How do you explain the kerning?" He's just going to make a statement tonight and for some inexplicable reason, expect us all to accept it and the furor to die down. Rather doesn't seem to realize how much people know and how easy it is to take apart what he says (or leaves out). As they kept saying in "The Princess Bride," "Inconceivable!" <g>
