Amy, check this article out by a Muslim from www.freemuslims.org freemuslims.org His own opinion of the extent of extremism within Muslim societies also mirrors my own assessment based on polls in Muslim countries, that the movement is large and pervasive, not just fringe as the liberals in this country would have us believe. Here's a quote: "What will it take for Muslims to realize that those who commit mass murder in the name of Islam are not just a few fringe elements?"
