Hi TC,

I'm a long time lurker, who enjoys of all the info here. I'll be doing an upgrade on my oldest computer this weekend (new CPU, HD & controller), so may have a few questions (hope not), but thought I'd get my introduction in while things are still working. This one is mostly a news and web search platform, but the opportunity to upgrade this old P-3 Slot 1 using a PowerLeap CPU adapter and Celeron 1.4 GHz chip. For the price, it looks like a reasonable expense to almost triple my processor. My other computers are used strictly for trading (though I can use my wife's or daughter's for SI-ing). Has anyone else tried any of the PowerLeap upgrades (or something similar??) -- powerleap.com is the site. Has a nice upgrade tool and good reviews from THG and other sites.

And for some Friday afternoon cow-ism see: funny.ansme.com (but I'm not responsible for the ending). Broadband recommended for the download.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
