Holly, that is my thought precisely.

It is difficult to conceive that even the Pentagon had state of the art typewriting equipment in the early 1970's, much less the ANG in Texas.

I would expect they had clunky Royal or Smith Corona electrics and possibly even manual typewriters.

The Dem response that the memos could possibly have been typed on one of these cutting edge (for then) machines strains credulity.
