OT Evidence of Arab and Muslim moral and intellectual bankruptcy: Fact. In Arab schools in Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and in Palestine, the school books have maps that don't depict Israel's borders or recognize Israel as a sovereign state. Instead they show the area without borders and call it Palestine. Fact. In many school books and lectures in pre-college and universities, kids are taught that there was no Holocaust and that the Holocaust is part of a Jewish conspiracy to blackmail the world as part of an attempt by the Jews to control the world. Fact. Arab countries have one of the lowest literacy rates in the world, standing at 43%. (http://www.arabicnews.com/ansub/Daily/Day/990910/1999091003.html) Fact. There is very little freedom of religion in any Arab country. People of other faiths have increasingly fled Muslim countries in droves in fear of their lives. Fact. Freedom of expression and of the press is almost non-existant in Muslim countries in the Middle East. Fact. 95% of global terrorism is perpetrated by Muslims. Fact. 95% of the flashpoints around the world are Muslims fighting their neighbors or their countrymen. Fact. Arab clerics and intellectuals have issued fatwas sentencing Salaman Rushdie to death for writing a book that criticized Islam, yet failed to do the same against people like Osama and Zarqawi who have murdered thousands and continue to inspire widespread chaos and murder. Fact. No Middle Eastern country is Democratic today, except for the budding possibilities of Afghanistan and Iraq, which required outside intervention. Fact. Muslim women are little better than slaves and second hand citizens in their own countries in the Middle East. In some Muslim countries they still practice femail circumcision to reduce the female sex drive in an attempt to stave of infidelity. Fact. Middle East countries have enjoyed a very large degree of wealth, yet poverty rates among the common Arab are some of the worst in the world. Fact. Jobs created in Israel, the only self-constructed democracy in the region, continue to be the primary source of employment for Palestinians willing to work for a living instead of wasting their time killing. |
