Classic. Notice that nowhere in that story do they mention that Bush was assigned to a non drilling unit, the 9921st Air Reserve Squadron THAT DID NOT HAVE DRILLS. Boy I wonder why somebody would not show up for drills that DID NOT EXIST during May, June, July, August and September 1972! Then they go on to NOT MENTION that GW did 106 drills for points between 1 Oct 1972 and 30 Jul 1973. That number of drills is way above and beyond the call of duty given you only need 48 drills per year to get a good year towards retirement.
