Thirty-one years today, since Victor Jara was arrested ..... they're going to force Pinochet to testify, and about time too - news.bbc.co.uk Jara's wife filed suit five years ago - news.bbc.co.uk Yes, we should be trading more overseas, we do quite a bit of course, but continental trade dwarfs all else .... and with lumber, only three nations on the planet build with platform construction the way we do - Canada, US, and Japan ...... but we have to diversify more, can't just assume a friendly reception from the neighbours, because they sure go through some ugly moods down there .... it's not going to get better any time soon either, looks like Bush is likely to get re-elected ..... which you can argue, is as much a symptom of malaise, as its cause .... [which came first, the chickenhawk or the rotten egg smell?]
