Big problem with New Orleans is there are not enough roads to evacuate all the people in 2 days. If low roads flood, gets worse. Big Lake (Ponchatrain) due north of city, big river, lots of lakes and canals. Like having a million people in key West.

Since much of New Orleans is below sea level, it could be like Bangladesh - could lode over 10,000 people.

My guess is in two days could start evacuation of elderly, special needs, etc.
