Interview with DoCoMo's new CEO in FT There is an interview in FT with the new CEO of NTT-DoCoMo, Masao Nakamura: mailft.com (you need a subscription to read this, but you can get a free 14-day subscription) The key points: - he says that ARPU has increased for FOMA/3G despite much lower data charges due to content - it's key to satisfy customers especially with number portability coming - flat rate data force DoCoMo to look for new busines models such as wallet phones, since there is a cap on data income for individual subscribers, so increasing content views does not increase ARPU beyond the cap - fixed-mobile integration is coming quick_thinking
