(BTW, it has been speculated by some Repubniks that Karl Rove was behind it all in order to trick the Dems into "buying" it and exploiting it only to end up with eggs on their faces). This is a very plausible story as Karl Rove is a master of deceit.

But I am not surprised at all it happened. It is common knowledge for quite a while that Dubya was guilty of being AWOL and of other infractions. Also, what goes around, comes around. Remember, the Golden Rule --- "Do not do unto others that which you would not want others do unto you" --- applies to all of us. No exception for Dubya!

America used to be a great place in the time of its Founding Fathers, in the time of Lincoln, FDR and even that one-time actor, Reagan. But since Reagan's time, America has been deteriorating to the point it has lost credibility among nations worldwide and it is no longer a safe home of the free. By a prolonged manipulation of the price of gold and the value of the greenback, it has been perpetrating fraud upon the world. And now, Americans are stooping so low as to resort to dirty, dishonest and dishonourable tactics to demonize and attempt to destroy people who tell them honest, ugly and discomfiting truths................. For how much longer will the moral deterioration of America continue?
