WIND vs. RSYS Joan, WIND is a software company. Although RSYS does have a real-time operating system (acquired from Intel), the company is primarily a board-maker. Note that when Intel needed an RTOS for I2O, they partnered with WIND, not RSYS. I have not been able to figure out if RSYS is a good investment. I am worried about the potential competion from other board-makers. OTOH, some hardware companies, such as CPQ, are continuing to do well. I would be interested in hearing your assessment of RSYS after you've looked it over. P.S. Be aware that Mark Brophy is always ready to say negative things about WIND. He may be a short-seller.
