"Bush certainly has the biggest flip-flop of the lifetime -- he said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and there are none

A good example of the utter incompetence of the Kerry campaign. A flip-flop is where conditions stay roughly the same, but your candidate flips his position. Eg. pro-choise one month, pro-life the next. The WMD thing is the opposite - conditions changed, but Bush essentially refused to change his position.

Couldn't they at least pick something where Bush did change his positions, eg. fiscal conservatism?

This campaign is just inept & not ready for prime time.
