Marc:
Best thing that ever happened to me was the week-long period when I was utterly unable to get signed on to *P. In total disgust, I signed up with a local ISP who sent a tech out to install and configure Netscape and get me going with unlimited access for $25 per month. One of the best moves I've ever made. It is good to see some of the more thoughtful and responsible people from *P posting here. I have been watching Brad's input on the FTEL/DCIC story since January or so....and can attest to the exceptional lengths he goes to in regards to obtaining and disseminating valuale information. Like you, I was distressed to see some negatives pop up in the past few days, and like you, I was afraid we might be seeing an emergence of some of the less wholesome aspects of the *P boards. Hopefully, this gesture on Brad's part will sort out what seems to be some temporary misunderstandings and we can all get back to the business of keeping each other informed and educated. On balance, if one goes back and reads the posts on the FTEL, DCIC and new FTEL/DCIC/FNET threads here on SI, I believe all will agree with me that we have some of the most thoughtful and intelligent give-and-take going anywhere on SI. I think if we all play our parts, we can keep these fine boards on the high road. Hopefully, one of the added intagible benefits to a profitable investment in one or both companies will be a new circle of friends in cyberspace. Now....lets all assume the full lotus position, join hands and chant together......".50 gap on the open....50 gap on the open....!"
Pleasant weekend to all, Art |
