Dennis re Prodigy Business Finance The one time you go in there they will download some data otherwise I haven't had any updates to the system in several months. I understand your frustration with downloads that's why I dropped america on line it was constant.

I use the business track for a quote sometimes but MOSTLY FOR NEWS.

The fastest way to get news on Prodigy for me is as follows. Under Finance hit the Quote track button. Load up the stock symbols FOR NEWS on a track. don't bother putting in any other data (eg numbers of stocks) I use the format only for news and quotes. After you have set up a track of stocks each time you come into business finance hit quotes this will bring up the quotes and statistics. move the bar over to LAST NEWS highlight the symbol and hit the company news button. This will load news stories from the last several days (or will go back further if you enter and other date). This will bring down a window showing news items for the last several days. This is the fastest way I know of to get news. If you initially hit the news in the main menu you need to enter each symbol and wait for a search and lose a lot of time. In going to the quote table you can scan the whole list to see if there is anything to request. THE BIG DAY IS GETTING CLOSER AGAIN I HOPE IT DOESN'T RAIN ON YOU.
