Because she's a black woman with a quavery voice who might start crying if she was blamed for 9/11? Heck if I know. I saw a funny political cartoon from S. America today where a tall John Kerry was shorter than a midget Bush with twin towers strapped to his feet! Somehow, instead of blame for 9/11, Bush has gained stature from it. It's positively Orwellian. Bush is a creature of 9/11. It is who he is, in his mind, and to his supporters. Bush could just intone "9" "1" "1" from now until Nov. 2nd.
