Yes, but could they do it consistently for a period of 30 years or more? Thats the real challenge and Buffet has done so.

100,000 dollars invested at 30% per year would grow to $261,999,564 after thirty years of compounding.

How many of your friends and fund managers are doing just that ?

In fact, how many mutual funds are out there with 15 year average returns of greater than 30%, excluding any that Soros or Buffet are involved in ?
