Police and prosecutors, however, often fail to take basic steps to catch fugitive priests. blah blah blah, spew hate at the Catholic church. Seems to me American law enforcement is a major culprit. Do we suspend the constitution in the case of certain crimes? A fundamental teaching is simply forgiveness and giving all a new chance. That moral imperative causes conflict with laws of secular nations. Each person must choose when confronted. I pray all make the right choice. Those who want to hate others who forgive will hate. That is who you are. As long as men have hate and evil in their heart, the innocent will be abused and betrayed. As best as they can Good men will attempt to put in place means to prevent betrayal and abuse and bring justice.
