OK, a guy who repaired IBM SELECTRICS for years doesn't qualify as an expert.
You tell me why anybody with an ounce of common sense would disqualify the repairman, but take the word of an expert in computer-generated forgeries? Your guy knows a lot less about typewriters than our guy, a lot less.
Your logic works for SWIFTIES only. Like I said, you'll defend Bush no matter what the actual reality is or was.
