Anyone claiming Iraq is a failure today is so incredibly short sighted, it's laughable. In fact, I'm laughing bitterly right now, because I know many people in America share your point of view. Thank God for the way this country is structured. When America is at it greatest point of danger, the people with the will and foresight to defend her seem to always rise to power. Thank God for that. If we were all so liberal minded and refused to fight for the spread of freedom from fascism in all it's forms including today's fascist terrorists, then this country would already look a lot like France and Europe would be called Greater Nazi Germany.

Apparently, people on the left (a) either do not care that there is a legion of people who wish to wipe us all out for no other fact than we aren't muslim, or (b) have absolutely no recollection of what happened on 9/11. I have noticed that many dems in and around NYC are voting for Bush this time around, while those I know on the west coast do not seem to have been affected one iota. They should replay the tapes from that day a few times.
My brother who is a Lt. Col. in the reserves who just got called up(and is 100% supportive of Bush), says that what he is hearing from soldiers coming back from Iraq is not being reported by the media at all. I have also heard soldiers coming back say that 90%+ of Iraqis support us, yet this is not reflected in the nightly news as blood leads.
There is only one choice this November. The economy, health care etc, none of it matter if we are attacked on a scale as large or larger than 9/11. Unfortunately, the hard core dems prefer lies instead of truth.
BTW, recently Kerry is claiming that we are spending too much in Iraq. In Aug of 2003 he said he would spend more....which is it? With this guy you never know.
