So based on this he maintains that he would still vote to authorize the war. Where is the flip-flop that the Bushies are accusing him of?

Now having said that, he is critical of Bush into the war without a plan for peace. A President, after getting authority to go to war then needs to get everybody together to get the job doen at a minimum cost to US lives and US taxpayer. That is what Bush has failed to do. His father on the other hand was very successful in buuilding that world coalition. Why? The answer is simple.

He could sell the war very well. Bush could not sell the war. It has nothing to do what Kerry said or did. It has everything to do how Bush handled it after Kerry and others authorized him.

<font color=red>The issue How he went to war not Whether he should have gone to war. Whether he should have gone to war was for Kerry to decide along with 99 others. How was for Bush and only Bush and no one else to decide.
