And why should they be? For Kerry to go after them risks distraction, he is running against Bush, not the neocons. If their appealing, however flawed, vision of how they were going to convert the Middle East to Western-style democracies via the domino effect, then they would be trumpeted as geniuses. Since that vision hasn't proved fruition, in fact is beginning to look like a Force 5 screwup, they are keeping a low profile.


The remarkable thing is that given his record, Bush shouldn't even be in contention let alone leading in the polls. Its all about marketing...........the party with the best sound bites wins!
