Man walks up to the gate at the white house and says to Marine standing guard..."I want to go in and see President John F. Carrie"...the Marine says, "Sir, Mr. Carrie is not the president and does not reside here." To which the old man says, "ok" and thanks him and leaves.
The next day the same old guy walks up to the same Marine standing guard and says..."I want to go in and see President John F. Carrie"...the Marine says, "Sir, Mr. Carrie is not the president and does not reside here." To which the old man says, "ok" and thanks him and leaves again.
Again, the next day the same old guy walks up to the same Marine standing guard and says..."I want to go in and see President John F. Carrie"...the Marine acreams this time, "Sir, Mr. Carrie is NOT the president! and does NOT reside here! Don't you understand sir! He is NOT THE PRESIDENT!!! " To which the old man says, "yes, I understand son...but I just like hearing it again."
The Marine smiles,stands at attention and says, "Yes sir! I hope to see you tomorrow!" |
