Bush Desertion has been dogging him for 10 years. In 10 years, he hasn't been able to prove his service. In 10 years, no credible witness and no document has placed him physically where he was supposed to be. Give it up. If it stinks like rotten fish it is very likely to be rotten fish. It isn't french bread with a rotten fish stench. You're so disconnected to reality. If this were Kerry being questioned, you'd believe it in a heartbeat. SwiftBoatScumBags: The worst part of what they've done is to place into question ALL US MILITARY MEDALS even those being awarded AS WE SPEAK. They are scumbags to do this to their fellow veterans and soldiers for their 15 minutes of venom-spewing fame. SwiftBoatScumBags: They've admitted that they're mad at the American Public for treating them like baby killers and murderers when they returned from Vietnam. I can understand that AND I used to sympathize with that sentiment. Now, I no longer do. They've taken their 30 years of stewing about their maltreatment and dumped it all on a 27 year old John Kerry. In their (probably) alcohol-steeped minds, Kerry becomes the big boogie man they've been hounded by for 3 decades. Karl Rove who was behind this entire thing (illegal for a 527) saw an opportunity to take that rage and dress it up for media. It wasn't powerful enough to be pissed about Kerry's Winter Soldier testimony. Karl Rove dressed it up as a question about Kerry's 5 medals. 5 more than Bush earned. The SwiftBoatScumbags let Rove USE THEM in this terrible way. Thurlow, Letson, Lonsdale, O'Neill, etc. the ones in the ad and the most visible, have been shown to be LIARs. I don't think this is what they bargained for but they made their bed with Rove and they get to stew in it for the rest of their lives. They are truly despicable human beings.
