The executive gives as good a match for the documents as does WORD and explains why the dates don't match the left margins and why kerning was not used and why superscript was used in some cases and not in others without having to know arcane WORD tricks.

Actually the composer is the most likely to have been used...these typewriters were built in many custom forms. For these typewriters lots of custom imprinters were built, with special characters, and it is not beyond question that a th key could have been made. But, even without a apecial character key, the composer was clearly capable of a superscript.
