You must be joking, at least I hope so. Your responses to mindmelds post make me not want to take anything you say seriously. No democracy.....so what! What kind of answer is that? I thought you were reasonably intelligent. The people in the ME are living under dicatators, sometimes voluntarily. And your comments make me wonder about your sanity. When did people "choose" to live under a dictator? Next you will be telling me that people like to be tortured and killed. Your side(the left) refuses to acknowledge that CERTAIN PEOPLE are responsible for the terrorism we see.....these people are muslim. Why not call a spade a spade? Muslims are responsible for nearly all of the terrorism we see today, and you make the ME sound like this halcyon place. I know anthropologists who have lived in the region and have a very clinical view, and who share my views. You just don't seem to get it. Muslim? Spoken like someone not very informed......how typical of an American from the right. Wherever there is poverty there are terrorists. In the Philippines, South America, Africa, Los Angeles.......and many of them are not Muslims. ted
