Rather is more obtuse than I thought....He JUST doesn't get it....Most of the American people simply DON't care what Bush was doing 30 years ago....Bush didn't make the Vietnam War the centerpiece of his campaign. Kerry DID. We know what Bush has been doing for the last 3 1/2 years. We know what he did for the last 10 or more years. Kerry has not a clue he could share with us as to what he's been doing the last 3 1/2 years. Kerry has not a clue what he did OF VALUE for the last 10 or more years. Dan Rather has no clue, PERIOD. Or he would understand this. And so would the DNC.
