Nope, the military itself just 'found' more documents. Bush is a thoroughly incompetent Commander in chief. He went after two countries, decimated by years of war and sanctions, each less than 1/10th our size AND STILL FAILED.
Afghanistan: Under Bush is increased heroin production by 2000%. Warlords rules most of the country. Karzai is the mayor of central Kabul and that is on good days.
Iraq: Under Bush has descended into civil war. It has lost all control of its borders, it has 50%+ unemployment, Iraqis are clamouring to leave the country, 20,000+ Iraqis have died, Iraqi cities are decimated AND the resistance/insurgency/really-really-angry-activities result in some 80 attacks A DAY and mortar rounds INSIDE THE GREEN ZONE.
With a CIC like this, who the heck needs a real enemy?
Oh yeah, Bush also sent our troops in with:
- insufficient number of other troops - close to ZERO support from our traditional allies - insufficient food - insufficient body armor - insufficiently armored (actually no armor) Humvees
He has to issue a STOP-LOSS to keep up troops numbers AND to avoid announcing THE COMING DRAFT prior to elections. No military person of any stature thinks that Bush/Cheney/Rummy/Wolfowitz (aka the despicable cowardly wimps) know one dang thing about running the war in Iraq.
Bush/Wolfowitz: Cost of Iraq war est. $1.7 Billion Bush/Wolfowitz: Length of Iraq war est. 1.5 Weeks
If you honestly think this is competent warfare then that would explain a great deal about why you still support Bush. You have lost touch with reality.
Even if you still support (for no good reason) Bush going into Iraq to topple Saddam (at 20 x's the cost of simply keeping a lid on him), you cannot possibly support the loss of life, limb, treasure and security that is the result of Bush's military incompetence.
Kerry is a mature, complex, diplomatic individual. Bush is an aggressive, belligerent, juvenile who throws frightening temper tantrums in front of aides. The situation in the world (Iraq, NK, Afghanistan, Sudan, Russia, etc.) is complex and requires both strength and diplomacy.
Bush has ZERO (actually NEGATIVE) diplomacy. He makes enemies where there were only friends. He makes problems where there was only peace. Do you know what he thinks about the complex nuclear problems of NK and Iran?
He said that he HOPED things would work out. EH? |
