Next year, we estimate 30 percent to 40 percent of phones will come with some form of removable memory. The number of downloads and applications will exceed what the handset can handle on board once we seriously get into multimedia such as mobile music. With removable memory that can be synced with the PC and other media, the wireless phone could become the edge device in the user's digital content world.
