The only reason I can see that they are dragging this out is that they desperately want to protect the source. Can you think of any other reason? If the source is connected to the campaign, CBS's stonewalling is understandable. They know that disclosing a source tied to the campaign will crush any possibility of a Kerry win in Nov.
