I had lots of friends who voted for Nadar in 2000... They saw it as you do.. a protest vote. It was one of the contributing factors to Bush being in the Whitehouse as they would have voted for Gore.... In an election that promises to be as close as this one might be.... that's vote lost, not a protest vote.
