The simple fact is the war [on terror] has been a RESOUNDING success.

If your only justification for this comment is that we have not had another terrorist attack on US soil, as has been pointed out previously, an empirical look would suggest that there is not enough evidence for such a position given that al Qa'ida has hit the US only twice in 11 years and the last attack was only three years ago.

As for terrorism in the world, the war on terror has been a resounding failure.
