Your analogy os like comparing apples to oranges and considering it a good analogy since they both are fruits.

It is again interesting to see you equate the situation of America's involvment in Iraq to that of WWII. Saddam is still alive but 20,000 Iraqis are dead. You think these Iraqis would still be alive with Saddam in power? Saddam may have gased the Kurds, but that was years ago with several US Presidents come and gone since then. During this Bush's tenure Saddam did not gas them. But it was Bush's actions which killed 20,000 more Iraqis.

So both Saddam and George W are the "butchers of Baghdad" with Bush having killed Iraquis in the past 2 years and Saddam doing so some 15 years ago.
