07:29 ET Nortel reduces revenue outlook (NT) 3.80: Company issues guidance for Q3 (Sep), sees revenues less than Q2 revs of $2.6 bln, Reuters Estimates consensus is $2.585 bln. For Y04, NT sees revenue growth in mid single-digits, Y03 revenue was $9.8 bln, so 5% yr/yr growth would imply Y04 revs of $10.29 bln, Reuters consensus is $10.58 bln. "As we work through this challenging transition period, completing our restatement activity and implementing the new strategic plan for the Company, I am confident that Nortel Networks will be positioned to compete strongly in all of our markets with the right products and services as we move into 2005."
