I believe that we have actually increased terrorist recruitment because of our actions in Iraq. However, I believe that they are very much occupied with attacking us in Iraq, instead of organizing trips to the U.S. to attack us here. The reason is twofold. First, we've stepped up security dramatically in the U.S. So it's a heck of alot hard to get in and then stage attacks. Second, our troops are sitting ducks over there, so it's much easier to sate their thirst for blood by killing our soldiers in onesies and twosies.

I don't like it, but the facts stand. No terrorist attacks since 9/11 and we're killing terrorists in large swaths in Iraq. I say let them all gravitate to Iraq, where we can kill them in large numbers, so there will be fewer of them to come over here.
