Ya know, I've been trying to figure out for 30 years why this stuff is so bad. At one point, in Cal, the penalty for being caught with a joint, even off in the park somewhere, was loss of license for a year, 6 months longer than for drunk driving. Why? It's not terribly rational.
Why don't we allow hemp to be grown here? There was a movement of farmers to start growing it, but it is illegal. Why? What sense is there in importing hemp fiber, when we could be an exporter? Probably makes methanol mo' bettah than corn, too.
