Sorry, orc, but the pdf versions on which the criticism was based were perfectly adequate for identifying obvious indications of forgery, including the proportional spacing and reduced font superscripts, not to mention other causes for suspicion like the fake letterhead created for two of them and the non-ANG-like language that a number of people have noted more recently. And if it weren't for the persistence of amateur journalists (a.k.a. "bloggers"), the professional ones likely never would have questioned CBS's story.
