I.B.M. Shrugs Off Loss of a Service Contract It Once Flaunted
(http://www.nytimes.com/2004/09/16/business/16place.html)

From the article:"..."We believe managing our own technology infrastructure is best for the long-term growth and success of our company as well as our shareholders," said Austin Adams, chief information officer at J. P. Morgan Chase...."

It looks like they are going to take it back in house.

SUNW's per seat licensing strategy complements any enterprise IT department since it is structured to save companies $'s that have "in-house" support groups or complete "out sourced" services. It's not like the IBM Service contract which was an all in one package.

Who knows, J.P. Morgan may build their new systems with the SUNW model in mind. Perhaps we will hear an announcement in the next few months????
